FSC PROGRAM

TDIS/Modal-X changes its Fuel Surcharge (FSC) weekly based on the U.S. Department of Energy’s national average price of diesel published every Monday. When a DOE observed holiday falls on Monday and no index is reported, the DOE index published the next day will apply. The FSC calculated from the Index is applicable on traffic picked up on the following Sunday through Saturday.

The FSC is a percentage surcharge applied to the winning line haul rate plus any applicable extended drayage surcharges communicated in the Modal-X award notification. NOTE: PARTIES BIDDING ON FRIDAY FOR SATURDAY PICK UPS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE CURRENT WEEKS SURCHARGE, SUNDAY AND MONDAY PICK UPS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING WEEKS SURCHARGE.
